Warm hospitality for three generations
We, the Fischer family, have been welcoming and looking after our guests for three generations in our stylish and cosy restaurant and boutique hotel in the Allgäu – right in the heart of Amtzell. Genuine hospitality is part of who we are and is felt throughout the entire house.
You’ll notice it in the warm welcome at reception, the thoughtful interior design, the culinary experience of true craftsmanship, and the attention shown by every member of our team. We want our guests to leave with a wonderful feeling they can take home after a relaxing break.
For holidaymakers, business travellers and workation guests who enjoy cooking for themselves and value independence, we offer an alternative: since 01 June 2022, we have also operated an apartment hotel with 11 apartments in Amtzell-Geiselharz.
Hire one of our e-bikes and explore the beautiful Allgäu and the Lake Constance region at your own pace. We are located right in the heart of the first ADFC Cycle Travel Region “Naturschatzkammern” in Baden-Württemberg! We are also a certified Bett+Bike Hotel and Allgäu “Cycling Theme Hotel”, offering many extra services for our cycling guests. We have great respect for nature and a deep appreciation for our home in the Allgäu. Our children remind us every day just how important mindfulness and sustainability are. For us, sustainable action is not only about using regional, natural ingredients and preparing them without additives — it’s a mindset. We treat our guests and employees with appreciation and consider the environment in every decision we make. You can find more about our commitment here.

What used to be the traditional guest parlour now shines as an elegant reception area with a welcoming bar and reception desk. It’s the place to meet for an aperitif, a fine gin or a glass of Lake Constance wine – relaxed, vibrant and with a truly special atmosphere.
